First paragraph indentation in PS

I have been putting 5 spaces before paragraphs in my personal statement. However, the 5 spaces before the first paragraph seem to disappear in the preview/print screen. How do you fix this?

Same issue. Just left all mine without indentation. Lines in between paragraphs.

yea me too. How are people dealing with indentations? I am afraid, without indentations, the personal statement will end up all together in one big paragraph when PDs print them out.

You have minimal control over the appearance of your PS. We know this. Don't worry about it.

Just put a blank line between paragraphs.
