Hi, this is my first post. I have been recently accepted to AZCOM and Western. I wish to practise in california after graduation. I wonder if someone could provide me a detailed unbiased comparison of the two schools in terms of curriculum, rotations, match list, etc.

Thank you!!:luck:

Isn't finding all those information your job? Plus, you should have already received most or all of that information during your interview.

Both schools are fine schools. It really depends on you - where do you feel much more comfortable? Where do you feel like you will be able to get the most and best education from? Where would you prefer to live? etc. Good luck on your decision.

It depends, if you're an awesome person join us at AZCOM. If not, Western sounds like a great school for you. :meanie:

Seriously I'm just kidding though. PM DancerDoc777. She is from California and just recently made the decision between the two so she could probably go through a lot of the pros and cons with you. Plus she's also interested in going back to CA for residency. Best person to ask in my opinion. :luck:

I chose AZCOM over Western, but then LECOM over AZCOM. But my decision was mostly based on cost of living because I had to give up Western before my AZCOM interview. I liked AZCOMs facilities better too, and all around loved AZCOM minus the increase in class size and my discovery of PBL.

If you're from CA then Western might "feel" better for you than me though. But if you're leaning AZCOM I think that if you can get into residency in CA then you shouldn't have a problem practicing there.
