I have been lurking for a while but finally made an account. Just wanted to say that everyone's (read as most people) advice has been helpful. Keep up the good work and keep pushing hard with whatever you're studying (end of first year, boards, shelf exams)

Take what is said on here with a grain of salt sometimes because a lot is opinion. However, I like it just because I'm going or have already gone through the same stuff as others so it's good to see different experiences and thoughts to know you are not alone!

Actually I thought your thread was kinda dumb/worthless. Hey everyone I'm finally posting! Uh who cares?

The people who came to this site looking for advice, then, when they didn't get it, because this site is full of assbags, decided to try to change the environment to be nurturing and helpful, sharing the knowledge and advice received elsewhere. Albeit with the occasional sarcastic remark or berrating some intarweb n00b.

Actually I thought your thread was kinda dumb/worthless. Hey everyone I'm finally posting! Uh who cares?

It was more of a keep up the hard work post. Sort of lame but you will see how much of a grind it is once you enter medical school. As a first year, I can't even imagine the work that the upper year students are putting it.
