I don't have much lab or health care experience. I know the volunteer coordinator at a local hospital, and I'm attending the orientation there in a few weeks. What else should I try to get involved with? A friend works with autistic kids, and I could probably work with him. Any ideas on getting more science experience for someone who doesn't know his way around a lab?
