Hey guys,

After one month of casual review (with Kaplan, Cliffs, etc...), I'm starting to go through DAT destroyer problems. I must say, it is ROUGH:

Bio: missed about half the questions I've attempted.
GC: missed about half the questions I've attempted.
Orgo: only missing about 25% of the questions I've attempted.

My question is, were the rest of you who used destroyer in the same boat when you worked through it the first time? Did you miss a significant number of problems the first time you worked through it?

FYI, I plan to go through it multiple times, but I just want to know what percentage of destroyer problems you guys missed on your first attempt.

Thanks! And any helpful advice would be very much appreciated.

50% missed from all sections for me, first time around, and that was also after 1 month of review.

Thanks for the reply, guys. Did you guys notice a marked improvement over time?

Also, for those of you who missed a decent percentage, could you please post your eventual final DAT scores? I'm just curious to see how I can (very roughly) extrapolate Destroyer performance to eventual DAT performance.

50% in bio, 25% in GC, and 67% in OC wrong. They weren't really indicative of my test scores. As long as you learn most of the material before the exam, it should be all good. 🙂

I wish I were getting 25% wrong in GC. My orgo feels solid at just 25% wrong.

Now, Math destroyer is a different story. I'm getting like 75% wrong on my first try. But I'm going through each problem and trying to learn how to do them step by step.

Anybody else have this kind of low success rate with their first time through MATH destroyer?

Try about 90% wrong the first time through, haha. I'm getting about 40% wrong now, after a week of doing QR practice every other day and after watching Chad's QR vids.

And yea man, definitely improvements through practice. I'm sure you already knew the answer to that question though 😀
