Ok sorry i know most of you probably don't care but if anything this will make you feel better about your scores

Just finished taking a full kaplan practice test for the first time and this is how i did:

RC: 22

GC: 13
OC: 13
PAT: 18

Don't know what happened with the sciences, crap! Will take one again next month hopefully it wll be 😎 by then.

you're alright - don't wait a month for your next practice test though - you need to be hammering out at least one practice test a week for improvement. that's how you get better - practice. reading the kaplan book is good and all for reviewing that jank, but the practice tests and practice problems are the things that'll boost you into the 20s. bust your hump and keep at it roboto

i agree with golf, your studying has to be consistent if you want any kind of important. may you should prep yourself a little better before you start taking practice tests, try using some things like Kaplan BB, Cliffs AP Bio, and kill it with Destroyer.

that was just like me, the first thing i did to study was take a topscore test just to see where i was at and i got like 12-15 in the sciences too. then i spent a month studying like 3 hours a day and got a 24AA on the real thing. an hour of reading about plant bio will jar your memory on the 4 months of info you semi-forgot from that sophmore plant bio class. Your attitude on the practice test will also be completely different than on the actually exam.

Well, for me at least, I thought that the practice tests were only good for practicing time management. It felt like a nightmare haha...

Don't worry you'll do waaaaay better in the real DAT. I got 15 the first time I did practice test so I taped the score sheet on the wall to motivate myself 😱
Keep doing practice tests and you'll be fine 👍

I originally got an 18 AA with a 16 on the PAT, but through the Kaplan classroom course, I ended up with a 22 AA and a 23 PAT. As long as you stay on top of your studies in every subject you will do well

I suggest you keep studying the sciences for a week or two straight and then do another test to see how you've improved. Don't do tests too often because if you're not done wiht the material, then you're just wasting the tests. So go over and learn as much as you can before you do the next test.

I actually scored 21-23 in all categories on my first practice exam, and then my scores progressively dropped the longer I studied. I bombed the DAT. Should have taken it cold turkey.
