Hi, I have a question for you all. I am a new member, just searched and found this site. This is my first post and the reason I posted it was because I have a question. This is my first semester of college and I will have a B in bio, but 4.0 in every other class (Calculus, Chem, and other General Eds classes). However I am concerned about having a B, is that bad for dental school? Any input would be appreciated, thank you.

You will be fine with some B's just avoid C's as much as possible.

Yes, you'll be just fine. Like Dr.TacoElf said, try to avoid C's if you can. If you get one, it's not the end of all things - trust me. Keep your nose to grindstone and before you know it you'll be adding your name to the acceptance thread. 🙂

Thanks a lot for the help, I also have one last question, BU and Tufts, are probably where I would like to attend, what is the GPA requirements, AND GPA is what percent of what they look at compared to everything else?

Anyone???

do your best of course but pretty much if you keep your gpa above a 3.5 you'll be good to go for most dental schools. just try not to get any C's and you will be ok.
