Are there any students at UCSF that would be willing to email me their Powerpoint notes from the first two months of school? I want to get a head start over the summer if possible. Thanks in advance

im right behind you arvin14, if anyone has the ppt's i would like to check them out

We can't do this, and our ppt's are a bunch of pictures from Netters for Anatomy. Go memorize Netters.

If you want a head start, just study anatomy. Go ahead and buy Netter's, you will need it anyway but I wouldn't recommend just reading it (bit of a hard read). I would pick up BRS Gross Anatomy(you will prob use this later for NBDE#1) and have Netter on standby to clear up stuff. If you REALLY want to gun,..like, "Everyone hates you, kinda gun", pick up Grant's Dissector.

My real advice? Just play XBOX 360 til you pop an ocular artery. Then drown out the pain with a lot of beer. There's plenty of time for misery once DS starts.

If you want a head start, you should pick up this book called Evidence-Based Dentistry. It was our hardest class first quarter, and nobody did well. Anatomy wasn't nearly as bad. Begin reading up on Oral Radiology as well. There's a lot of physics behind it.

Thanks for the suggestions!
