... and much less work for admin.A lot of schools have gone to virtual anatomy instead of the real thing. Much less expensive, and much less controversial. The technology has been around at least 5 years now, and many schools that have made the switch have since been reaccredited at the MD level.
Depends on what you define as "work." In the early days, the faculty had to put in the upfront work in making sure their graphics worked with the system. It's a bit easier now, but as an instructor, it can be quite intensive to make sure everything's working.... and much less work for admin.
Less cost in not having to purchase cadavers and disposal of formaldehyde waste.... and much less work for admin.
Bless your heart for thinking NPs have anatomy at all lolPhysicians are supposed to better trained and held to higher standards. Virtual anatomy sounds more like whats being done at the 100% acceptance rate/ 100% online - NP diploma mills.
