Sorry for the double post on this web board and the OPM board.... with the state of things here, I thought it best to post over there and here.

Ok, I had the afternoon off today, so I spent some time entering in all my courses into spreadsheets for:

undergrad GPA
BCMP Gpa
Grad Gpa

and here's what I come up with:

UG GPA: 3.451
BCMP GPA: 3.35
Grad GPA 3.83

This is provided I get A's in Orgo and Physics, which I have yet to take. My last 30 or so hours of pre-reqs and science have been 3.9999999999999, and my grad gpa is most recent next to my "post-bac" pre-req grades.

So, I thought I would drop a line to see if anyone can give me a clearer picture about what this looks like to them. My gut tells me I'm still ok, but of course the number worry me as I gaze upon profiles of the young, gunner pre-med. Of course there are/were significant variables to a lower freshman/sophomore GPA (cancer), but looking at my transcripts, there is an obvious upward swing.

Thanks to anyone who can comment on this, and you can PM me if you have any personal suggestions.

Upward is good haha. Normally I don't even post in response to someone showing good stats like yours but today I can sympathize...haha. My recent physio exam was not up to my standards, so it comes down to me having to ace the final to be guaranteed an A in the class (the class is curved though, so I may not have to ace the test). I found myself flipping out for half a day feeling hopeless, but then realize I was being stupid, and i was completely overreacting.

In your case, I think you are too 😉 If your most recent work in challenging courses is good, like 3.9999999 as you said, and you do well on your MCAT, you're in a good place. Based on what i've seen as an undergrad and on here in SDN, I'm willing to bet that some people would kill for a UG GPA like yours..haha 🙂

Just keep getting A's.....of course a B now and then especially at this stage isn't going to doom your existance..but they're exponentially better than C's and below..haha.
