If you were scheduled for this past Saturday, the 9th, or rescheduled from an earlier date to the 9th, you should receive a phone call from Prometric rescheduling you to the 19th.
If you have not, call them.
IF you have been rescheduled to the 19th, please know that some sites are down and expected to possibly continue to be down on the 19th and therefore, you might be yet again, rescheduled to a different site.
I received an email from my care team at Prometric saying I may be moved to another site for a myriad of reasons, primarily, my site is still without power and the expectation is that it could be at least another week.
On a side note:
We were not in an evacuation zone and as such, asked to house in place. What that means is that MY home is not in danger of storm surge which is what generally kills; we are about 8 miles from the ocean. As a weatherman said, water kills, wind does not (I might disagree with him a little on that but ... ) Many, many friends called and offered us plane tickets, safe housing, anything to get us out of town. However, in leaving we would have clogged in the interstate for those who NEEDED to leave.
We stayed put as requested and offered up our home as shelter which is supposedly a Cat 5 built home post-Andrew requirements (but one never knows down here).
On Friday, we took in a family... during the 72 hours we waited/worried (at one point for about 24 hours the eye's path was projected directly over my house😱 right down to the neighborhood 😱).
Total occupancy?
9 adults
1 toddler
9 dogs (5 unaltered😱😱😱; that was entertaining trying to keep them all apart)
3 cats (ALL altered)
2 bearded dragons (who knows 🙄)
1 hamster 🙂rolleyes🙂
bunch of fish
I got called up by the ARC to work my thing... and left to find a mess but actually? This was a good beta test for emergency preparedness on the part of my city. #FloridaStrong We are all okay!!
