FL to CA Reciprocity

Has anyone applied for reciprocity from FL (basis state) to CA successfully without having score transferred before taking the NAPLEX? I know in the past this was a problem, and on the board website it says contact board (slow pokes), but I heard this may have changed. For someone that graduated in 2006 and passed the NAPLEX, does anyone know if this would be a problem? Or would you have to retake the NAPLEX (waste of money!) Any help or first hand info would be greatly appreciated!
