On a previous thread someone mentioned the Kaplan GRE Verbal prep application that they downloaded for their ipod. I ended up getting the same program on my blackberry and it is great. Anyway it let me to wonder if there were any websites out there or programs that you could download that allow you to make your own flashcards (for another subject) and then study them on your phone/whatever. If anyone knows of anything let me know - I have found studying GRE vocab with the app on my phone to be really nice especially since I always have my phone with me so I thought it would be a great way to study for other subjects as well. Thanks.

I use it with my ipod. it works very well. I paid the one time fee 4-5 years ago, and have never had a problem with it. you can use it without the fee, but I find the lietner system useful, and the cost minimal (it was $20...not sure if it has gone up.)

Also, it lets you do front, back, hint. I use a lot of mnemonics, so the hint field is useful for me. Also, you can do images, though I don't in general. And you can upload from spreadsheets, print out cards, etc, though that is a bit more work than I am willing to do (since I do most of my studying electronically anyways.)
