Hi,

I am moving from CA to the East Coast this application cycle and I was wondering about the flexibility of interview dates. Assuming I get x interviews in CA, I don't want to buy x plane tickets. I would like to try and clump my interview dates together so I can interview at a few schools within a couple weeks time interval. How likely/possible is this? By the way, I plan on submitting my application the first day primaries open and submitting my secondaries in less than a week after getting them.

Thanks

You can send an "in the area" email to a school if you have not received an interview from them. From what I have seen, sometimes school are receptive to those emails, other times they are not. If you have received interview from two schools on different weekends (assuming the weekends are not months apart), you could probably see if you can change the date for one of the interviews. Again, it will all depend on the school and availability of interview slots. Changing a date is not guaranteed as it does depend on if they have room, but it doesn't hurt to try. If you apply early and your stats are good, most of your interviews will probably be around the same time. I had 4 in October and 1 in November.

Thanks for the response! Would you say good GPA and MCAT stats are sbout 3.8 and 35 ?
