hi everyone,

It's my first post here. I'm graduating in 2015. I would like your thoughts on how much more likely it would be for me to find a job (retail or hospital) if I am only looking to work part time in a state that the job is quite saturated? (10-20 hrs or less is preferred). I am also flexible to travel to different locations within the state.

I have no pharm work experience. I am on great academic stand, Dean's list etc. I am super efficient and have good recommendation from my previous boss.

This is future my plan. But I don't know how realistic it is.

Any insight would be appreciated!

There is no way to know. It will depend on where you are and what the job market is like there when you graduate. If your area is already saturated, even PT work may be a challenge to find. The more experience you have as an intern, the better candidate you will be to prospective employers. Lack if work experience could be a huge challenge to overcome in a saturated marketplace.

You should concentrate on graduating first. Worry about the 2015 job market when you actually need to look for a job. If your state is already saturated, then odds are its only going to get more saturated in 1-2 years. Be flexible about location or be out of a job.
