Flipping ADA and their flipping bureaucracy

So I e-submitted a month back and everything is done my apps have been mailed but the FLIPPING DAT score hasn't reached AADSAS yet. I sent my scores to 5 of the 10 schools when I took the DAT (Dec 2011), then I sent it to 2 more after AADSAS started since ADA said the when you send scores to even 1 AADSAS school, they'll get the scores. Obviously the schools I sent the scores to Mich and Penn never told me anything and ADA never sent me any sort of tracking info or anything.

Should I just pay the 300 bucks I'd need to and send the damn scores myself and not wait for these damn incompetent people? Will the colleges be able to match my DAT scores to my application? I'm just really frustrated at this point since its been over a month and everything in my application was done weeks ago except this damn thing. (LORs done, Transcripts verified etc.)

At this point it seems it would be necessary to take things into your own hands and send them yourself. If schools don't receive your DAT scores they won't be able to properly evaluate your application. 300 bucks is worth the investment into your future in my opinion. Schools will certainly match your scores to your application and you can call/email them for verification.

AADSAS will continue to receive scores after this date and post them to applications as they are received. Please be patient while these scores are posted.
There is no DAT score information available. ADEA AADSAS matches DAT scores to your application based on the following questions.

DENTPIN: Have you entered your DENTPIN® correctly on the Account Information page?
Date of Birth: Have you entered your Date of Birth correctly on the Biographic Information page?

It takes up to two days from the time you last answered these questions for your scores to appear.

Its clearly not reached them and there is NO REASON for that to have happened. Like "Enter Name Here" said, I'm just going to do this myself tomorrow and see if there is anyway to expedite shipping for an extra fee or something. I took my DAT in Dec 2011, and my DAT scores were imported into my AADSAS I think on June 7th.

Lol...you and I are diametrically opposed friend. They posted up my GPA already and my BCP GPA still irks me (I made a thread whining about that too 😳). My DAT was very good so basically the thing that annoys me to death is already posted up but the thing that I'm happy with isn't....drives me nuts.

Well that is somewhat understandable I guess...honestly though if collegeboard (the SAT folks) can figure out how to get scores to people instantaneously via the magic of the internets, I honestly don't know why the f*** ADA can't do the same. I hope both our scores get uploaded soon....this whole application farce is frustrating enough without these people screwing up!

DO IT! Send the scores yourself. you have great stats and ppl are already getting interviews. Stupid AADSAS takes a crap load of time to get things verified and sent out on time. I also submitted about a month ago and they are refused to verify my gpa when they told me that some of my courses which were NRSC were not classified as bio or even oth sci courses. So i had to go back and email them.............i wanted to scream my head off

Hey, I was in sort of the same situation. Took my DAT august 2011, did everything early, submitted my aadsas app everything verified 1st batch, then my letters came in 2nd batch. Sat and waited for my DAT scores to show up and nothing happened for a month. Called AADSAS and some useless guy said my scores were sent out with my app and I shouldn't worry. Waited another 3 weeks still nothing showed up on AADSAS, so I called them again, found out my birthday was incorrect for my DENTPIN....so now I am here, sending in a dumb request form to get things with the ADA sorted out, so they can send it to AADSAS which then will send it to the schools. I pretty much wasted a whole month, and now I am counting on the ADA to get my stuff out on time.

So, I would check do make sure everything on your DENTPIN and AADSAS match up, or else you'll end up with a further delayed app

Guess what folks, I can't send in the scores myself. I called all of my schools today, 7 answered the phone and told me that the scores need to be on AADSAS. Mailing my scores in apparently doesn't do jack. F***ING BUREAUCRACY!

I went ahead and shipped the scores to the 10 schools again anyway, I hope at least some of them will accept them...

Geez why is AADSAS so difficult. why the hell are we paying them this much money to process our apps if they cant do their work on a timely basis.

I know you've done this 100 times and you're probably wanting to spit blood by someone even suggesting it....but check all of your info again. Make 10000% sure that your ADA info matches your AADSAS info. Look at more than DENTPIN and birth date just for fun. Whatever you see on the screen when you requested those official scores again should match exactly to your AADSAS app. I'd even go put your date take in and out again and also your birth date.

The whole thing is odd. It's not like ADA prints off a stack of reports and snail mails them to AADSAS where some dood inputs them manually. It database to database with the unique IDs being those things you input.

It's gotta suck having your whole is complete otherwise.

Its all correct, I've checked it many many times and since you said it again I'm definitely going to check it out many many times more. AADSAS folks just keep telling me that it is probably being processed... sounds like they're just wanting to get me to put the phone down. I've decided to just do my secondaries and hope it gets solved soon. Most schools I applied to don't start reviewing applications till the end of this month, so I still have some time to get my stuff together. Thanks for the concern and the helpful tip!

Dude, call them everyday and annoy them (unless you already do that lol). Your score release should be on some sort of a priority list..this is cray cray!

It took them 12 days to send my scores..looks like they are going to take 12 months with yours!

Yeah...only I would say it feels good to finally have the one thing I've wanted to have on there since day one. I guess this makes my 2nd batch into 4th batch in terms of application completeness...lame!
