flirting in the workplace

hello,

have any female surgery residents had to deal with married or attached male colleagues hitting on them? how do you deal with the situation? is this commonplace in the surgery world? i guess i've been taken aback by how blatant some of the flirting is-generally when you're married you don't go out of your way to hit on other girls, right?? i guess i have a lot of learning to do.

you just ignore them. plain and simple. they eventually get the hint. or just do as i do, start yacking about your boyfriend. never complain about the sig other around them-that just makes them come for more.
