Just curious to know if anyone has taken the Florida Boards and whether or not the prep course is a necessity. (Assuming that you didn't go to school in Florida). Is it as insanely difficult as everyone makes it out to be??
Thanks,

I know 2 people in the class of 2004 that passed them with now prep course. They were both from FL. I plan to take them also, I am from FL and plan to go back and practice.

Just today we were talking it about this. It seems that FL boards are very different from CA boards, so we were advised to do our homework and get ready for it. If anyone can post the basic requirements it will be great. Thanks.

Is there any advantage practicing in Florida?

Im from Fl but goto dental school out of state and Im planning on taking a prep course this summer b4 i take the FL boards. It is my understanding that most EVERYONE even those who go to dental school in FL take the prep course.
