According to the nerb if someone passes the florida state exam with its current format can apply to nerb and get " nerb status" allowing him to apply for licensure in 38 other states. However, this only applies to US dental trained students..
I was wondering if any of the internationally trained dentists that completed some kind of residency in order to be allowed to take the Fl exam, tried to obtain a certification of passing the NERB as well? I understand very well that I would not be able to get license in all 38 states, but I am only trying to get license in states like TX or VA that allow foreign trained dentists to get license if they completed US residencies and show proof of regional exam like NERB.
I will try to contact NERB but I would like to know if anybody in the same situation tried to do that before?
I would really appreciate any help !
