What are Febreeze Scent Stories and where can I find them? Ugh, I am SO out of the Febreeze loop.

I woke up this morning with the Swiffer jingle in my head. You know, "something something something, you must swiffer! and something something something something...YOU MUST SWIFFER!" Very clever of them to play off that 80's song. I hate clever cleaning products.

-Does the Scentstories™ machine also play music?
No, the Scentstories machine only accepts Scentstories perfumed discs.
-Can I skip over a scent?
Yes, scents can be easily skipped by pressing the play/next button on the machine.

Next, they're going to come out with Febreze ScentStories in mp3 format. 🙄

Caveman--I know about the Febreeze scent stories! I can't believe noone else has heard of them. I also don't understand the purpose of them aaaaand they're quite pricey for an air freshener.

For the benefit of everyone else here, febreeze scent stories are these air fresheners that go onto this machine/contraption and are timed to give off different scents. (e.g. Rainy day, dewey (?) meadow, cinnamon apple, etc). I'm sure there's something about it on the febreeze website.

In other news, my newest pet peeve are those interactive advertisements located at the top of your/my AIM buddy list. The worst is the GAP one where it says "rollover for gift ideas", and if the mouse remotely touches it, it expands into this huge screen that takes forever to get out of when you're on a crappy old computer that they gave you at work because you're the newbie. Every friggin time I try to sign off or click on someone's name, that damn thing pops up. SERENITY NOW!

Wow didn't think there were too many USF students on here. I mostly keep running into people from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale area or from Gaineseville/North Florida area on here. Well with the exception of one or two other people.

Yeah I took both courses. They are sooooooooo stupid. They are just a ton of busy work and pretty lame.


That said, they can be pretty easy and I recommend people get them out of the way by finishing them in 2 or 3 days. That's all that is needed to finish both courses.

Well I'm not sure about any all-inclusive examples, but from the perspective of the US Men's soccer team, their issue in sports is having an impossible opening round in the World Cup. Italy AND the Czech Republic?? Not good, not good.

Actually, there were a number of easy exit classes. Did you ever take Issues in Music? The stupid lectures are on WUSF channel 16 in the middle of the night ALL THE TIME!

No. I didn't even know of the existence of that one. I just know all the premeds take Issues in Sports and Childhood lit. Some take Lit in the Occult which requires work but is worth it because it is pretty interesting.

They're excellent with milk but you don't want the cinnamon coming off the cracker and into the milk because that's gross, so instead of dipping it I like to take a bite of cracker and then take a sip of milk. man...how did I not get a 43 on MY mcat?

Don't know how that happened because as far as Mr. Larkin has told us, there are no scholarships at USF.

Guju--Yeah, I'm leaning heavily towards Miami. I (unexpectedly) was very impressed with FSU, but I think UM is a better match for me. My only hesitation is 1) the higher tuition and 2) worried about my class rank at Miami (based on the GPAs of matriculants at UM v. FSU, it seems like I might be able to obtain a higher class rank at FSU and I'm not sure how this would affect residency). But overall, I'm leaning ~90% towards Miami.

I had a bunch of questions about FAU so Dr. Hinkley put me in touch with some students after my interview and they were so helpful. Now I just have to figure out when I'm going to visit--I'm thinking January. What made you choose FAU?

In regards to class rank, I would not assume that lower numbers at FSU will mean that you'll have a higher chance of getting at the top there then at UMiami. No matter where you go, you still work the same amount of work to get the grades.

Its probably better to look in terms of curriculum.

Very good point! I know med school will be challenging no matter where I go. One thing that I really liked at Miami was the academic societies--I think that will be a great tool for dealing with year-to-year issues. As of right now, I'm about 90% sure I'm choosing Miami (praying for a scholarship!!!)
