PBA is a religious school. Somehow this fact evaded me until the night before my interview. I decided not to go.

Check that...Really religious..

The mandatory weekly chapel pretty much turned me off. It's easy enough to "play Christian", but 4 years seemed a little long for me.

Is Nova religious at all? I don't think it is right? Just private.
Yeah I've heard PBA is pretty out of control. I'm Christian myself but it could be a little much for those who aren't.

Nova is not affiliated with any religion. It is just a private school.

I know the religous aspect of pba, but I need more info on the school. I need info on nsu tooo.....

My roommates friend goes there and said that she doesn't feel that the teachers are that great. She just told her last week that she wishes she would have reapplied to UF and tried to get in. I'm not really sure about the school myself. I haven't really talked to too many people about it. I know that based on the religious reasons alone, I would not have gone there.

As for Nova, I've spoken with a few people that go there and they like it. A lot of them thought the distance education would be different though and of the few that I've spoken with, they said they don't like that too much. Again though it's a just a few people, there are some people on the forum that go there so hopefully they'll answer for you. Good luck

the people i know who attend PBA love it and never really mention the religion thing as much of a problem

If they are already living a Christian lifestyle, then it probably doesn't bother them. I'm an atheist and really religious people creep me out. It would be a nightmare for someone like me.
