Hello!
I would like to know if people have suggestions about ways to get some exposure in PM&R just to check out the field because I find it to be interesting. I finished an internship in FM but is now considering switching to another specialty. I just find FM to be too general and the OB portion was just something I did not enjoy and hence I quit my program. Right now I am not in a residency program but was thinking about PM&R as a specialty. I did not do any PM&R rotations in medical school or during residency. But as a DO, we were trained well in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment but I know there's more to PM&R than that. I already watched the video and read some items in the sticky and still find it to be interesting.
Any recommendations will be great. Any word of advice will be great as well.

So PM&R residency program directors spend lots of time talking to people (mostly medical students but also others) about careers in physical medicine. I would suggest that you contact the residency director at either your medical school, or at the closest PM&R residency program to you and ask for their help.
