fmg tryin to get an ortho spot

ive been in med school in costa rica.now im switchin to the dominican republic.i just want to know my chances on me gettin an ortho residency,if i get a score of about 220 on my boards?.i also would like to know if anyone of u knows someones that has studied in a foreign country and has been able to get a ortho residency? thanks

Chances are slim without extensive research. I know that several programs have paid 2yr research positions typically for FMG's that they tend to accept residents from. I know Jefferson has something like 2-3 of those positions.
 
CCKS is generous. With that board score, and being an FMG your chance is basically 0%, rounded to the nearest whole number of course.
