So can fmgs in radonc now practice in Florida without a residency?

Yup.

Someone pointed this out on X a while back, but cant find the post. States where HCA has the most hospitals 🤔

So you can staff radonc clinics with rock bottom labor? Maybe have an American grad come in once a week for new pts and then dirt cheap labor for the rest.
HCA. The same organization creating unnecessary EM residency training programs to oversupply that specialty.

Makes perfect sense to me

Astro cut from the same cloth
It's worse when it's your own specialty's physician leadership doing it vs some soulless for-profit corporate hospital chain.

EM leadership has spoken out against residency expansion, not been a part of it like ASTRO

My g*d, could you imagine if we got a bunch of Palexes over here on the cheap to make us all look like dumba$$es (while maybe giving some systemic therapy as well).

Just what we need.
I likely earn a third of what the median income on this board likely is. And I get paid well.
🤣🤣🤣
I (and any other colleagues of mine) would certainly not make you look dumb.
