FMGs and interviews

How successful have the FMGs been in getting neurology interviews?how many did you apply to and how many intview calls did you get?

(not to highjack this thread) but I'm intersted more in how did U.S IMGs from the Carib schoos did?

the reason this information is important to me is because although traditionally neuro has been friendly to IMGs and FMGs the number of foreign applicants has been very high and ecfmg has received a record number of applications.Was curious what effect this had on the neurology applicants and how successful they were.my guess is this year was less successful.anyways guys ,any inputs?

I'm a FMG from a european med school (good grades, good references). I applied to 43 neuro programs and got 9-10 invitations. I managed to go to 7 of them. Some of the invitations came late in the season.

My advise would be apply to a lot of programs.

Last year I predicted a huge amount of applications from IMGs.
