Hey all!

So I had asked how this workshop was.
I'm a family medicine doctor that doesnt really ever do more than simple interrupted sutures maybe once every 2-3 months and saw my skills from residency waning and wanting to brush up.

there were about 20 attendees and 2 overseeing physicians during the class.

they went over topics/techniques including
1. simple interrupted suturing
2. horizonal mattress
3. vertical mattress
4. subq suture
5. punch biopsy
6. elliptical excisions

they also went over indications for these procedures and billing topics. I thought the course was very worthwhile and would attend the advanced course in the future. the AAFP and the instructors did a great job. it was a well spent $320

Thank you for the feedback! I would be interested in attending something like this...where was it held at? Are they doing more in the future?
