I am preparing to take the certification exam now. Which one is easier to take? AACC, AANP??? I know there are several of them.
Also, did anyone take review class by margaret fitzgerald? Is actual class more helpful than the CD?

Exams are probaby equivalent. But with ANCC you recert in 5 years and you get CME credits for teaching NP students in the clinical setting, but I believe with AANP you recert every 2 years. Don't bother doing both. But DO take Fitzgerald's course.

Take ANCC, if I remember correctly from three years ago it is more widely accepted although they are about the same. It does recert every 5 which is a big plus. I took the Fitzgerald course and it was great.
