Folding Into The Page vs Out for CDP PAT

I understood the rule to be to fold into the page - taking the fronts of the patterns presented to you as the outside of the figure being made.

On Test 1 of CDP #90 they fold out of the page to get the correct answer!! On the real dat does this rule apply or no?
 
I just checked. Unless we have different versions and different questions, their answer is right. The object is folded into the page to get the correct answer. Same with the actual test.
 
You're right, don't know what I was thinking at the time. Thanks though! I just learned the folding in rule today and it makes this section much much easier for me!
