Hey,
Fist of alI am aware it is really early, but I just wanted to hear some thoughts on what people asked as follow up questions after their interviews. It seems most programs cover most information before you get a chance to ask and I don't want to be left with nothing to ask. Any input would be great! Thanks!

Are you referring to questions asked during an interview or after the interview day?
Most of the endo programs decide who they are going to offer a position to hours after the interview, so asking questions after the interview day is often in response to being passed on and inquiring about how to improve one's application for next year.

OP probably means questions during the interview or after the director has finished asking questions. Don’t be over zealous. If you have a question ask it. But trust me, they know if they want you before you even get there. Asking good questions or showing over the top interest isn’t going to get you accepted. It’s your applications, stats, and then just personality. You work super closely with director... like you spend a lot of time with them. So they want someone they click with and can mentor.

Agree with FutureDent.. the best thing you can do is be genuine. Your follow up questions won't be the reason you do or don't get in and the last thing you want to do is force it. I typically asked questions about things that came up in that specific interview (i.e. how the person got in to education, research, etc) or for some sort of advice that they wish they'd known at the beginning of their career.
