Just began thinking, but do you guys actually "follow-up" with the schools you've applied to?
and if so, how did you do it? Phone, e-mail, snailmail, or...?

I called one of my schools to verify something about my application, and the dean was more than happy to talk to me for ~10 minutes!

I can't imagine them not receiving multiple calls throughout the day...?

There are lots of different opinions on this, but I actually did call every school I applied to to make sure they had received everything, unless they had sent me an "application complete" email. I know some people say not to annoy them, but the fact is I spent a lot of money/time on applications, taking the DAT, etc to have it get screwed up because someone misplaced something or a check got lost in the mail. I waited about three weeks after I knew everything should have been in to start calling to get confirmation.

I am actually planning to follow-up as well. I'm spending my money in all those application fees! Calling would be best.
