i have a couple of canadian applications due this week...

there are no guidelines in terms of font type...

i can do arial at 10.5 and it looks nice and big, but i find it harder to read than times new roman. the times new roman at 11 actually looks rather small on paper. (need to meet the 1-page restriction).

when i show them to my mom...she prefers the big font, as an older person i suppose.

but, i still find the times font easier to read.

any suggestions?

bigger font, these adcoms are usually older people too

Times New Roman
12

Safest way to play.

i know...it just wont fit. 🙄

How bout Times New Roman 11.5 and play with the margins a touch, some computers default at 1.5 inch, 1 inch is pretty standard, you can probably go down to 0.9 inch without them noticing.
