That, and how admission rates are supposed to drop EVEN MORE this coming year, makes me feel really sad for all those high school seniors 🙁

Davis and Irvine's admission rates (the two that dropped the most) dropped by 18 and 22 percent in just 4 years! Kind of scary

I have no problem with rising tuition at my school. There is a huge budget problem in California, and it has to be fixed. The only way to do that is to cut state spending. One way or another, you're going to pay for it, either through cuts (and in this case, increased tuition), increased taxes, or decreased services.
