It seems that there are some Canadians on this fourm and few got accepted to study in private school for the upcoming year. I am a Canadian myself and will most likely study in one of private school down in US. I know studying in US is REALY expensive. But I am looking for a estimated pricetag.

so, how much does it cost to get a dental eduction in US private school including living expense, rents, books, equipments, etc... as a Canadian? Thanks!

costs the same as if you were an american..about 70K per year altogether..for tufts, nyu,bu etc..the only problem is that its harder for us to secure our loans. really helps to have an american co-signer.

why is it better to take loan from US instead Canada? Cuz the interest rate is lower?

Can a co-signer be a friend? What qualification does the co-signer need to have?

the 70k per year for total cost, does that usually apply to expensive dental schools in east like NYU and Boston?

yes, the 70k does..but since you are canadian i don't see how you can avoid the private schools if you are intent on studying in the u.s. co-signer should be someone who can send in a bank statement showing a reasonable amount of income and collateral..and right..the rates will be lower than canhelp. canhelp is full of u know what..very disorganized and greedy company.
