I am looking at ACGME accredited internal medicine residency programs, and I was wondering about the 25 DOs who matched into cardiology this year. Does anyone have any information as to which internal medicine residency programs they came out of? I know that 2 were from the Cleveland Clinic. Any one come across this while interviewing?

Most of the DOs who got in...got in at community programs in CA, MI, NY, OH...at programs who only took their own candidates. You will not find many DOs at the bigger university programs.
