I just now noticed that there are LOR forms that each letter writer needs to submit. How did you do this with an Interfolio submission?

You mean LOR forms specific to a med school? Never used them. You don't need to. They're not required, only provided to you for your convenience if a letter writer is submitting a letter directly to the school. Just submit your LOR using interfolio (make sure to include your AMCAS ID) and that's it.

I'm assuming you mean the amcas LOR request form.

Basically you fill it out and then use the letter ID on the amcas request form when you send the letters from interfolio. It is very easy and interfolio's instructions lead you through it step by step once you start to submit. Just make sure you create a LOR request form on AMCAS first.

Do we count the each of the letters from interfolio as individuals on the AMCAS LOR form or do we classify the interfolio letters as a packet?

Just b/c they come from interfolio that does not automatically make them a packet. You classify the letters based on what they actually are. If you collected the letters individually then they are individual letters.

AMCAS from interfolio? I could have sworn that my school says to send as a packet with the committee letter "on top". I'm confused. Thanks for any help.

Yes you need to send it from interfolio to amcas.

check amcas, then follow my instructions earlier in the post. Using the AMCAS LOR service is now mandatory for all but ~6 schools.

You have to make amcas lor request forms on amcas, then use the forms when sending from interfolio.

I'm confused about whether the AMCAS ID needs to be on the letter or not?

If my letter writers sumbited to Interfolio and I uploaded the letters from interfolio to AMCAS (entering my AMCAS ID and the letter ID) is that fine? Will the letters then have my AMCAS ID on them when sent to the schools? Or do I need to upload new letters to interfolio with my AMCAS ID on the actual pdf file?
