Hi!
I am californian. I am planning to apply to few out of state pharmacy school such as purdue, pacific, boston, Toledo(dose any one know about this school, It seems very easy to get in.) Idaho state, etc where PCAT do not require. Dose anyone have any out of state pharmacy school interview.
How did you manage time schedule all that? how much did you spend per trip???
In addition to my first priority school is UOP and I have pharm tech license and worked in Rite Aid and retail pharmacy for last two years.
Since UOP has the section where I can write my certified pharm tech No., Is there any specialty to get in as pharm tech?

I'm originally from NJ and I had 2 interviews, one in in CA and the other in IL. I can't remember the exact costs but my flight to CA was probably around $250 and the one to IL was around $200 (maybe a little less). Then you have to figure in food. I was working at the time and it was difficult to take time off of work. If it weren't for the cost and time off work I probably would have gone on more of the interviews I was offered but I just couldn't handle that many at the time.

Good Luck with everything!

Each of my out-of-state interviews from Florida (to San Fran, Purdue, UT Austin) cost between 400 and 650 dollars. Texas was the most because they give VERY (under a week) little notice so the majority was a plane ticket. Purdue was a nice interview experience. San Fran was tough because there are some hotels in really sketchy locations (Market Street can be great or scary.) Good luck!

I got into both schools but decided on Touro because it seemed like a better fit for me. We started school already (on 8/7) and so far I'm loving it!

I worked full time as a teacher and took 8-12 credits of prereqs a semester. So it was tough taking off time for the interviews.

Good Luck to you!
