For ppl accepted to Suny

I got a letter of acceptance to Suny on monday. They said to send a cheque of $500 payable to them from a bank that has branches in the US.

Does anyone know if it's the same if I just send a money order? And are there TD branches in the states?

Congrats on your acceptance!

I am from Canada too, I sent a money order and it was received Nov 26 (I sent it through one of those special deliveries with Canada post and it got there in 1 business day). I sent admissions and email this week to confirm they received the money order and if it was ok. Dr. Johnston got back to me saying they received the deposit. He did not mention there being a problem with the money order so I assume everything is ok! 🙂.
