Does anyone know if taking physics at a community college is okay for Temple (and other strict schools?) Will schools that are strict about where you take your prereqs make exceptions?
I've graduated from my university and have taken all other prereqs besides Physics. I decided on dentistry my senior year, so I was unable to take Physics before graduation.
I have looked at schools in my area, and the only one that offers Physics at night is the community one. The other ones only offer during the day time...

Tufts is making me take the last part of physics lab ( 3rd part of physics, finished a physics at CC, had taken physics 3 lecture at university). There is no way around at least with Tufts.

I had no problem at many schools including Temple.

If I would have done it all over again, I would have taken majority of my classes at CC and got a great GPA. Having said that, I believe that its unfair that CC and 4 yr university classes count the same. The level of difficulty is so far apart. I feel that there should be some sort of penalty giving for taking CC classes or a bonus for taking at a 4 yr university.

There already is; it comes under the heading of serious scrutiny and possible rejection.

The science classes at the CC I went to were on par with the difficulty of the science classes I take at my university.

Thank you guys, so I'll take Physics at CC! Temple is one of my top choices, so I don't want to miss an opportunity or have to take Physics at a 4 year uni/college by quitting my job

maybe some CC's are different than others. When I took Calc 1, the professor basically told us which problems were going to be on the test and went over them in class.

Also I took physics 1 at uni and barely managed a C and than 3 years later and no refresher courses, I took physics 2 at a CC and got an A, and physics is easily my worst subject that I still dont understand. yaa haha

If I could re do it, I would have tried to take as many CC classes as I can to boost up my GPA because it is a joke.
