Do they still look to see if you took it, and if you took it do they look at your score and consider it in admissions?

In other words...
Does it help to take and do well on the PCAT? (for schools that don't require it)
Does it count against you if you do poorly on the PCAT, or if you don't take the PCAT?

Or do these schools not look at or consider it at all?

Thanks in advance.

No they don't look at it and when you take the test pcat sends the score to the schools that provide the code for pcat.
Even if they do see it, they cannot use it against you or for your favour. All the schools work on points bases during admissions and they don't tell you that, but basically there is points for gpa, pre reqs, bachelors, extracurricular, interview, etc. as a recommendation I wouldn't apply to any of the new private schools whether they require the PCAT or not. They are just there to take your money, nothing more.
