For the Additional Information section in secondaries, should I mention...?

During the first two years of my undergraduate career, I had a GPA of around a 3.0
During my last two years, however, I had a GPA of above 3.8 while taking more difficult course loads

The disparity was mainly due to my poor decision to volunteer 40 hours a week as a full time student.



I was wondering if I should explain this GPA disparity in the additional information section, or if I should keep quiet...

There is no need to explain this. If asked during an interview, you can say that one of your weaknesses early on was your time management skills. You worked on it, and significantly improved your performance.
