Why in the world does my cat insist on eating/chewing on plastic??? Is there something missing from the diet? Is he weird? what can I do?
Ok, just curious
thanks

Err, I'm not a vet (yet)... but, from personal experience, make sure your cat's mouth is healthy, i.e., no dental disease or early problems. Your veterinarian can help you with that!

I've also heard of cats eating strange things being associated with general stomach upset (nausea), and also... if your cat is actually eating the plastic (by that I mean *swallowing*) you should really speak to a veterinarian (in person).

And seeing as we're not supposed to give medical advice here anyway, that's probably your best bet. 😉
