Did they say something about starting next year D1's are going to start from the first week of JULY??? I felt like i heard something about that during the presentation but I dont know cause I was not really paying that much attention.

IF that is true...does that mean they will give more breaks during the semester...or will the students get out early...

any info will help thanks.

I am not sure about the breaks, but they did say that the schoold years starts July 1st

School said that it's almost 90% positive that school years starts July 1st and the break would be the same length and amount. Also, we don't get out early they just start it early which the school year will be 12month. School thinks that it will help out D1 student to succeed in dental school courses.

I liked this. I don't know about you guys but I'm excited and if I get accepted somewhere I'll be dying to get out there. I think they said that they will cover the same amount of material as the other D1s did so it just means that the course load is spread out more and not so dense.

I'm curious to see how this will effect the two year boards for them... I know they were below average last year.
