hi guys. so i finally figured out how to make a poll!!

so anyways, im applying for 2007, and was all set to take the april mcats, but now, with a month away, i feel unprepared, and am thinking about doing the august instead.

that's where YOU come in! 😛

tell me, and all of us, when you took the MCAT. i dont know what i'd do without SDN...maybe so my kaplan homework..but who knows.

keep studying unless it is pulling down your grades at school. 2 weeks out from the MCAT you can make a better decision. My practice MCATs did not look decent until 2 weeks out from the August MCAT.

I studied for the April MCAT until about 6 weeks from the MCAT and decided to take the August MCAT. NYCOM does not usually start interviews until November so you may interview relatively early even with an August MCAT. I think they started interviews in November and I had a December interview.

whatever you decide go in there and crush it.

For DO schools I really think if you have a 27+ MCAT and competitive GPA that an August MCATer will get a decent shot at early winter(Nov-Jan) interviews provided all your application materials are taken care of.
