I found out yesterday that one of the admissions course requirements is incorrectly listed on the website of the school. It says now:
Also, I found out that only 8 out-of state students will be accepted this cycle.
Just wanted to share the info.
I spoke with the dean of admissions and taking 2 of the electives is only recommended and not required as stated above. He told me he would have the website changed.*Electives: It is strongly recommended that elective courses be chosen from the following: biochemistry, upper division biology courses (e.g., genetics, comparative anatomy, developmental biology, cell biology, histology, microbiology, molecular biology, physiology and neurobiology). The applicant is required to take at least two of the aforementioned electives prior to matriculation at the UT Health Science Center College of Dentistry.
Also, I found out that only 8 out-of state students will be accepted this cycle.
