The best recommendation I could give you is to volunteer at an inpatient or outpatient pharmacy inside hospital. That is the easiest way to get pharmacy experience because hospitals have a volunteer office that can directly connect you to a pharmacy and its only 4 hours a week. There's no interviewing or resume required. I tried looking for pharmacy experiences at retail places but it was difficult for me to even obtain a volunteer position because they already have a full staff. That was from my experience .

Another thing that one of my friends did was going to the career center on campus to search for pharmacy job openings if you want to work at a retail place. 🙂

Try Western Medical Center (Santa Ana), I used to volunteer there. They are always looking for new volunteers in the pharmacy. Ask for a lady named Minta Jack, she is the volunteer lady and she will give you info on how to start. You have to attend a 6-8 hour orientation prior to starting, so be prepared for that.

I called more than 100 pharmacies. No one wants a volunteer. I even applied for hospitals. I don't know what to do?
