I am sorry but I do not think it will happen this time around. I believe they are officially out of interviews for this year as per the status page.
 
Yep, that's lame. They lured me in with the secondary then kept me hanging for 4 months. 😡

I've called once a week for some time and they just said whatever was on the status page. It just works if you're in the interview pool.
 
And I thought they interviewed through April thus notifying until march. At least that is what the previous message said.
That sucks I really like the school.🙁🙁😕🙁🙁😡

My status actually says that I was on a kind of interview pool.
 
mine says the same thing it's said for months... your app is complete, yadda yadda... what did it change to??
 
This is what mine says:
"Although your application was in an interview category, we have filled the interview places for this year. You will be receiving notification of your application status."😱😱😱

I just called Admissions. It looks like they still have some interview spots available but it it seems they will not be able to get to MY application in time for those. Nicer way of saying we reject I guess. Oh well. 👎thumbdown

No status update yet, still just complete and waiting.

Read the post below my status. I called admissions and they told me they still have some invites left but in MY case it may not be possible. That is what I get for applying late to that school. LORs!!!

I applied late too. 🙁 When were you complete? I wasn't until 12/6.
 
Whatever, we got the shaft...Did anyone really want to live in Winston-Salem anyway? My buddy from NC School of the Arts just got VD up there from a W-S State girl:laugh:

I'm looking at the Wake Forest status page and it asks for your employee ID number and application number. I'm assuming my application number is my AMCAS ID but what is my employee number? 😕

that info was in the email they sent you when they got your application
 
Thanks armybound! Turns out the last name is case sensitive. 😛

The message on my status page reads, "Your application is complete. Interviews are by invitation from September to March. If you are invited, you will receive a e-mail or phone call to schedule an interview."

I've been complete since mid-October. 🙁

I've been complete since like early September. just face it, we're never going to interview there.
 
My status page still says the "complete" and "september to march" message. Does that mean anything?

When were you guys complete?
 
I just realized that Wake has by far the dumbest status page log-in since you have to enter two random numbers to check your status. They couldn't have changed it to, oh I don't know, maybe your E-MAIL and AMCAS ID. Blahhh, whatever Wake, game over for me anyway. Maybe I should've tried that "call and you get an interview" trick haha.

I was really surprised how many attractive girls I saw during my one night stay in W-S. The night before my interview I ate at one of the restaurants around the mall and I kid you not...80% of the girls there were at least a 6 on a 10 point scale. I even had a girl hit on me! I'd be lying if I told you this didn't affect my opinion of the school/area at least a little bit... 🙂. As for VD...I'll take my chances >).

I'm saying 80% were 6 or above- that's a very high ratio. Furthermore, a 6 is pretty high on my scale. I've never seen a 10, and only a few choice beauties make it above 8. To me there's really no such thing as average, and if it did exist it wouldn't be at 5.
 
Man this sucks...I just called and they said they might not have any spots left to interview. I don't get it. I have good stats (3.98, 37P) maybe it's an OOS thing. any other OOSers here?

May I suggest you venture out of the Hog and Hominy/Volunteer State and take a brief trip down to South Florida or perhaps the following three Universities: UCLA, Arizona State, or the University of Central Florida...

...you'll see some things that will have you coming back with the 5 mile stare😉

not everyone has the same idea of beauty. I've seen some "hot" women in Florida that I wouldn't want to touch with a 10 foot pole.

I'll concur...There must be a reason why UCLA consistently comes on top of every 'Hottest' Campus list, year after year

But the Tennessee vs. Florida contest isn't even close😛

I also agree. Other than for some of the chicas in the Boca to Miami strip and other hotties in a few other places around the state, FL, is no camparison to Socal. Also stay away from North FL. If you happen to come across a hottie, chances are she doesn't live there or she is looking for a meal ticket.

So, I assume no one has heard any positive news concerning interviews @ Wake?

i emailed a very nice "hey wake, i'm still into you, why haven't you called me?" letter and was promptly given back a response saying "oh, i totally like you, just not as much as i like these other kids...and time's short, so i may never get around to calling you. no hard feelings, right?" in other words: plan B interview pool.

very kind, and very prompt. still disappointing.
 
I called today to check if I still have a chance and I scheduled an interview on the phone for Feb 22nd. So I guess it still does help to call and there are still interview spots open. I'm probobly interviewing for the waitlist, but I'm still excited.
 
good luck arb I interview Feb 12th I hope for a spot not waitlist they first offered me a Jan interview but since I travel so far and had other interviews we went for Feb I will let you know after my interview:luck: I love WF
