I just recently change my new email to an hotmail account, and I read on UMD website that hotmail might filter out some of their email. So, I was wondering, did anybody received an email interview with an hotmail account? And did the online status check change when you received an interview invite? I tried to call the admission ppl, but they don't like to help ppl. So, any help will be appreciated. 👍

I received my invite through hotmail. Just be sure to check your 'junk mail' folder periodically, because some emails from other schools have been dumped in there (I can't remember if UMD was specifically). If you have been scheduled for an interview, on your status page you will see a new menu bar on the left side of the screen entitled "Interview Calendar." I guess this would be the best way for you to tell.

I have a hotmail account, and I still received my UMD invite in my inbox. Just make sure you turn your junk mail filters off.
