I'm sure it depends on the particular school, however what does your AVERAGE daily schedule look like. I posted earlier saying I'm going for 2009 and I have 3 young kids. Can somebody give me an example, i.e.... (maybe add the school you attended if you will)

I went to Indiana

First year - I have 2 afternoons off a week and study on average 3 hours a day.

Second year - etc etc

I am a first year student at Indiana, so I can only tell you about my first year schedule, but here it is:

First semester:
M - class 8 am - 2 pm
T - class 11 am - 3 pm (1 hour break)
W - class 8 am - 5 pm (2 hour break)
Th - class 8 am - 2 pm (1/2 hour break)
F - class 10 am - noon

Second semester:
M - class 8 am - 2 pm (2 hour break)
T - class 8 am - 5 pm (2 hour break)
W - class 8 am - 5 pm (3 hour break)
Th - class 8 am - 1 pm
F - class 2 pm - 5 pm

Most often my days end with a lab, and we often get out up to one hour early depending on the topic for the week. How much I study is completely dependent on what is being covered and what is coming up. For a particularly large test we had a few weeks back, a group of us studied 40 hours in 6 days for that test alone. But on some days you need a break, and I only study 1-2 hours. Hope that helps!

How young are your kids? Will your husband be working? God be with you going thru the program with 3 children. You must be a strong women. I went thru Optometry school back in the 90's as a single guy in my early twentiees and I found it at time to be living hell b/c of the vast of material that has to be learned and understood.

Good Luck ! and I know many have done it and gone thru it in your shoes.
