I've been taking some AAMC's and I guess I have been doing OK ~29 (and rising).
But I noticed a lot of the questions were pretty rediculous ex. in BS there was a question:
The most effective method for increasing the amount of water lost through the skin in a certain period is:
a-inhibiting kidney function
b-decreasing salt consumption
c-increasing water consumption
d-rasing environmental temperature (a 2nd grader would know this)
Even the PS and VR sections had a few (unbelievably) easy questions and as a whole, I didn't find the tests to be that difficult. I just keep making stupid mistakes all the time.
They say the AAMC tests are good predictors to your real score, but does that mean that the real test is the same difficulty? A couple of my friends that took the MCAT in April bombed despite getting high scores on the AAMC. I just wanted to know how everyone else saw the new CBT tests and if you were suprised by your result.
