...what did you think? A search turns up alot of pre-med reviews, but how are they for dental admissions? Could I bypass sending out LORs to AADSAS, and just use interfolio?

I'm going to be applying for a masters soon and dental school after that. I was thinking of getting a 5 yr account so I could use it for both times I need to apply. Do they charge extra for holding things other than LORs, like headshots, CVs, and resumes?

yea it was a lot easier to use interfolio...i had each writer upload their recs to interfolio and then all i had to do once they were all received was just send the whole batch in one mailing to aadsas...that way aadsas has less of a chance of losing them also..i didn't even use the letter of rec matching forms and everything was all good😀

Good to know you had a good experience with them. Did you store anything else with them other than LORs?

same here... worked like a charm.

Getting back on topic: anyone else have experience with interfolio?

okay a dumb one.. what in the world is interfolio????

No interfolio here, but I still managed to make it. 🙂

why not go through your health professions office instead?

my school made us use interfolio; they wouldn't write a letter otherwise.

Well, for me, I've been out of school for a while and the letter service at my college A)only holds letters for a set amount of time and B) the service expires a certain period after you graduate. Interfolio would hold my LORs as long as I'd like.

so lets say you have ppl write you LOR's and interfolio can keep resending those as many times as you would ever need (like if you are applying to dental and graduate schools, or you are applying more than once or twice)?

I am out of school for two years and my HPO still handled my LOR's... i did go there for four years, and paid fat bucks... they better give something in return. But they only hold your letters for two years tops!

I wonder if they can directly send letters to interfolio or not?

This seems like a very useful tool, I wonder how come no one mentioned it before. (or maybe they have I just never heard of it. )

Yea the writers can either upload their letters electronically using an electronic signature or they can mail them to interfolio directly
